Run Fundamentals with Adam

Are you someone that wants to take up running and not sure where to start?  Or perhaps you’re an experienced runner restricted by niggles/injuries?

I would like to share my knowledge and experience with you for you to achieve your goals and run with ease. I’ve managed to compete at the highest level in running & triathlon for over 20 years and at the age of 40, I’m still in the best shape of my life smashing personal bests. I believe anyone can run regardless of age or ability; Let me teach you how, during a run fundamentals session.

Run Fundamentals (60 min)

On booking your run fundamentals session, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire prior to your appointment. This is so I can learn a little bit about you, your lifestyle, your experience with running and what your goals are before I meet you in person.

If you’re unsure of whether a run fundamentals session is for you, please arrange a FREE 10 minute telephone consultation and I will happily answer any questions you may have.

The first 10-15 minutes of the session will be spent going through your questionnaire and formulating clear objectives of what your individual needs are. Then we will focus on the key fundamental movements of running where I will be able to identify areas of improvement and prescribe specific exercises or drills for you.

By guiding you through the key fundamentals of running, I will teach you how to prepare your body before, during and after a run or race for optimum performance.

These fundamental exercises and drills will help you:

1. Prepare - your body for the activity

2. Perform - using the correct muscles

3. Prevent Injuries

4. Promote faster recovery

I will also offer advice on training plans, nutrition, massage, hot/cold therapy, rest & recovery and my race day top tips! I can help you with all of your running queries.

Depending on your individual needs, you may require more than one session. This will be discussed during your appointment.
