Alex King

Osteopath

Alex graduated from Swansea University with a Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost) in 2019. He was first introduced to Osteopathic care at an early age where he sustained an injury playing rugby. This ultimately led to him purse the profession as a career. Since graduating, Alex has worked in several privately run clinics where he has developed a style of treatment that can be moulded to help people of all ages and differing levels of pain.

Alex is primarily a structural osteopath meaning he uses a variety of different techniques that focus on the body’s framework and connective tissue. The typical techniques you can expect to see in Alex’s treatment sessions include:

  • Deep soft tissue
  • Muscles energy techniques
  • Joint manipulations and mobilisations
  • Exercise prescriptions

Alex has a keen interest in helping people return to sport. Not only does he believe in the importance of osteopathic care in recovery and rehab, but having attended multiple seminars of Osteopathy in Sport, he has seen the additional benefits osteopathy can have in improving one’s athletic performance.

In his spare time, you’ll find him playing rugby, at the gym or failing to organise a skiing holiday.
